Have patience, Once again..

"Page no 47, question no. 8", said Rahul, when Rohit asked for the question especially marked by maths teacher of coaching institute, Kota.

Rahul and Rohit, two neighbors from last six years. They are together from 5th class and always had similar choices whether it be of life's important decision or pizza's flavour. Now they are in kota, obviously for iit, in 11th class just started coaching in this month.
Localities of small town have always been in fair notes of teachers. With 10 cgpa as proof of intelligence, their families, after conventional discussion with relatives have send them to the coaching hub of country.

Rahul from lower middle class has been the first member of family to get first grade in high school, where as for Rohit's family he is one another to join the rally, even his brother studies in BITS Pilani, so fees doesn't matter.

Though Rohit was richer but he was more serious and tense towards tests and results, and almost similar was state of Rahul. Results were different from expectations, they always are, both of them forgot to learn, they started fighting for marks. For the students like these, getting rank on thousands and marks below fifty percent was never acceptable at all. But it happened with them for complete 11th. And it happens, though not with all competitors but acquiring "rattafication"(memorising the concepts instead understanding) is an obvious process, especially when one's aim is to get marks. Scores of 11th were not good, but parents covered it saying that they had other problems dealing with accommodation, food and new environment and the air too.

Now, when grades degraded, both were trying to find the discrepancy in themselves, which actually was in the test papers. Yeah, the test papers, they were designed with the extreme tough questions so that the actual exam always seems to be easier. So what happens next, is that they fall prey to this invisible fight between CBSE board and coaching system. They mentally moves towards stage of depression.
Before 2 months of exam, Rohit suicides. Earlier on same day he refused to attend the exam when Rahul asked to join him. Family came and took his body with a suicide note or I should say a regret letter with the traditional composition and sorry to parents.
Mentally Rahul was no different, he was few steps before suicide, when this traumatic drama happens. Best thing was, the realisation what Rahul felt that suicide is never a solution. After observing Rohit's family condition, he never dared to suicide. But he was unable to overturn the impact of these incidents in his exam and results.

He failed at jee, joins a private engineering institution. His family was always supportive and never told him about background of his family. His family was never able to cope with high fee of college, so they applied for loan and as the security, they gave papers of their house, their only property. Rahul never knew this side of family, he thought that he can afford engineering from private college, which was never in his preference list. Now this is when Rahul came to know about financial status of his family and all other incredible efforts made by his parents to pursue his studies and wishes But how can parents deny the child's wish when they have only one!.

The dark period continues a bit more. Life is all about believing that anything can happen at any moment, you must learn to face uncertainties and live without expectations. This is what Rahul learned when he came to know that an accident resulted in death of his mother. Typical bus driver careless of lubricated road was busy in phone call more urgent than lives of 55 people. Might he was discussing next project of NASA with TRUMP even that doesn't matches with the price of lost.

The events were catastrophic, heavier impact on Rahul. He anyhow began his life but never was able to ignore these thoughts. Results were obvious, back in semesters. At the other side, his father became addicted to alcohol and was using the cheapest.

As a result of Rahul's poor academic performance, bank withdraws loan, when Rahul was trying to improve.
He completed 3 years with mechanical branch, though the grades were just satisfactory as he never prepared for exam. Whenever he tried, the dark thoughts clashed in his mind, but his practical knowledge was good as a part of his interest.

Father was unable to control situations, rahul was out of college
and things were going worst. They even lost their house when bank demanded to repay the loan. His father was suspended for being absent for more than two months.

It's time for Rahul to earn and he went in market with average performance and three years of mechanical engineering. No doubt, he was offered  job of mechanic ,that even when father tried too. He began, as he had no option left, with good hard work and using his practical skills efficiently.

Punjabi, the owner of garage where Rahul worked, was very attentive and a good observer towards his workers. He always found Rahul excited about his work and was impressed with his learning ability. So to spark up his curiosity, Punjabi used to attend tech fest and seminars with him.
Practically Rahul was already enhanced and knowledge from these workshops and seminars led him to break limitations of imagination. He now thought to produce an efficient engine at cheapest cost. He started to work on garbage items and invented a solar plate with just 500 spent. It can store electricity for three days,if consumed with slower rate but enough to start anything. It was not released in market as just one piece was completed and Punjabi went to Mumbai for its approval and to modify it in Aspects of investment.

During this period of time, responsibility of garage was on Rahul. But during nightshift, he always handed over the keys to Punjabi's son. One night when Punjabi's son had to join birthday party of his friend, so in excitement and hurry, he did the job improperly."

A garage found burnt, nothing left usable",was the headline of local newspaper next day. Rahul was informed and was lost in thoughts standing in front of his burnt workplace.

What is the fault of Rahul? What's wrong with him?

It's never you,who is the controller. Sometimes life moves as you planned, and you become habitual of getting results as supposed then comes the day when life trounces you. That is the day when you must realise that "to control" is not your job, you are an artist supposed to perform as better as you can.

And then punjabi returns, Rahul was ashamed of himself, words shuttered them down from his lips. But Punjabi reacted in a totally different manner. He was sad too, but what then.. Punjabi said " don't worry it's not the first time I am facing such scenario, this is 3rd time for this garage to get damaged. Life does have ups and downs ,even more than you can imagine but what matters is how you get up once fell. I haven't told you one important point that there are three other branches of my garage, so you can work there also. And yeah one more thing, your design has been approved and govt. is offering you to be their technical head of committee which will release the product at the cheapest possible rate. You will be 50% share holder of the product's financial business."

The series of emotions on Rahul's face were numerous. From a feeling of regret,it transformed itself to a joyful surprise. But he learned some priceless knowledge from punjabi and then learning continues from the tales of Punjabi.

Now he is the owner of garage rebuilt on same place. The life is going smoothly though his father has been admitted to city's best hospital from last three years as he is suffering from lung cancer caused by drinking methanol contained beer.
